Seven members of the Muslim community embraced Hinduism at the Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore on Saturday afternoon. Among them, one person is from the Khajrana area of Indore, while the rest are residents of Mandsaur district. Three women are also among the seven individuals returning to the Sanatan way of life.

According to VHP leader Santosh Sharma, these individuals were welcomed back to their homes with chanting of mantras at the Khajrana Ganesh Temple. They were given new names during the conversion ceremony: Pallavi for Parveen B, Ishwar for Irfan, Govind for Ghaffar, Mohanlal for Mohammed Yunus, Rukmini for Rukaiya B, and Tanu for Tamanna.

Before visiting the Khajrana Temple, all of them underwent purification rituals by priests in the Dharamshala of the Patel community, which included holy water, soil, and bathing in 10 different types of water. They were then adorned in saffron clothes and brought to the Khajrana Temple.

The name of Khajrana’s Haider has been changed to Hari. He mentioned that he was deeply influenced by Hinduism and the Sanatan way of life.
