Delay in Probe: High-Powered Committee Yet to Begin Investigation into Alleged Land Grab in Bir Firojari, Haryana

Gustakhi Maaf Haryana– Pawan Kumar Bansal
High powered Committee appointed by the Chief Secretary to probe Court order of Divisional Commissioner Ambala Renu Fulia and acts of omission and commission of sale deeds in Bir Firojari in Panchkula is yet to start work, yet to summon Renu Fulia. It is busy writing letters and seeking relevant records!

Our investigation has revealed sensational disclosure and it had all the ingredients of a potbelly masala Mumbai movie i.e., clout of IAS lobby; circumventing all laws for grabbing land and novel way of hushing up an issue by prolonging enquiry so that affected powerful beneficiaries can manage it by using their political clout.
Notably, Chief Secretary Haryana has constituted a fact-finding Committee headed by P Amneet Kaur Commissioner and Secretary Woman and Child Development including T L Satya Parkash Chief Administrator of HSVP and some retired Revenue officers as its members.
The Committee was supposed to find facts on order dated 13 :09 2023 issued by the Court of Divisional Commissioner Ambala and subsequent actions including acts of omission and Commission with further action of sale deeds sought to be registered. T L. Satyaparkash is on Election duty.
Chairperson of the fact-finding Committee appointed by the Chief Secretary wrote to DC Panchkula Tehsildar Panchkula and SDO (civil) cum Prescribed Authority cum Allotment Authority Panchkula on ninth April 2024 to send information regarding the case within a week by special messenger. She wrote another letter after a week seeking photocopy pertaining to Sanction of mutation by Revenue Officials in consequence to the order by Divisional Commissioner Ambala and subsequent efforts for registration of land from SDO (Civil) Panchkula on 27th and 28th March this year. Rest is history.
Renu Fulia Divisional Commissioner Ambala had vacated the two decades old stay on Bir Forojari land in favor of IAS officers and later on bought the same land in the name of her son and family.
Efforts to know the version of P Amneet Kaur bore no fruits as she didn’t respond to the text message.
