Fresh Lookout Notice Issued for Deve Gowda’s Grandson Amid Deepening Sex Scandal Row

Bengaluru, 4th May. Amidst the deepening probe into the ‘obscene videos’ case, a special investigation team descended upon the residence of Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prajwal Revanna in Karnataka’s Hassan today. This move follows the issuance of a second lookout notice against Prajwal Revanna and his father HD Revanna by Karnataka’s Home Minister Gangadharaiah Parameshwara.
“We have issued lookout notices against both HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna. They have until this evening to respond to the notices,” stated Karnataka Home Minister Parameshwara during a media briefing on Saturday.
The issuance of the second lookout notice comes after the initial notice was issued when both HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna sought time to present themselves before the investigation team.
Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, faces accusations of raping multiple women. Following the surfacing of incriminating videos on social media, he left the country, sparking a significant controversy amidst the ongoing general election.
“I request you to kindly extend all possible support to the victims,” stated Gandhi in his letter to the Karnataka Chief Minister. “They deserve our compassion and solidarity as they fight their battle for justice. We have a collective duty to ensure that all parties responsible for these heinous crimes are brought to book,” he added.
Gandhi described the incidents as “horrific sexual violence” perpetrated by the sitting Member of Parliament from Hassan, alleging that Revanna had sexually assaulted and filmed hundreds of women over several years.
The unfolding scandal continues to draw public attention and raises concerns over the handling of such cases, particularly in the context of ongoing political dynamics.
