Ayodhya Shines Bright: Grand Ram Navami Celebrations at Ram Janmabhoomi

Following the magnificent ceremony of Pran Pratishtha, the Ram Janmabhoomi witnesses yet another grand celebration amidst the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. The festivities at Ram Mandir are adorned with offerings of 56 types of bhog, prasad, and panjiri.

Acharya Satyendra Das, Chief Priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, expressed that the Trust has meticulously managed all arrangements for the celebration, infusing the occasion with great enthusiasm.

“Ram Navami will be celebrated with great zeal,” he affirmed, highlighting the elaborate preparations undertaken by the Trust.
The Chief Priest further elaborated on the special adornments of the day, mentioning Lord Ram’s attire in yellow garments and the ceremonial bathing with Panchamrit.

He noted the creation of four-five types of panjiris and 56 offerings made to the Lord.

Describing the beauty of Ram Navami, Acharya Satyendra Das emphasized the significance of witnessing sunlight illuminating Lord Rama’s forehead, hailing the day as extraordinary with the completion of the Ram Mandir.

Shyama Yadav, a prasad maker, shared insights into the meticulous process of preparing prasad, underscoring the sense of blessing associated with contributing to the offerings for the Ram Mandir.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra shared glimpses of the divine celebrations, showcasing priests performing the Divya Abhisheka of Ramlalla Sarkar and the Divya Shringar of Lord Rama at the temple.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings for the festival, expressing his overwhelming joy at witnessing the Pran-Pratishtha in Ayodhya.

In his tweets, PM Modi reflected on the historic significance of this Ram Navami, marking the first celebration with Ram Lalla enthroned in the grand Ram temple.

He underscored the privilege of celebrating the occasion in Ayodhya after centuries of waiting, attributing it to the collective sacrifices and dedication of the nation.

A large congregation of devotees gathered at Ram Mandir on Wednesday morning, symbolizing a vibrant display of faith and celebration. Before visiting the temple, devotees immersed themselves in the holy waters of the Saryu River.

The temple’s darshan commenced at 3:30 am, and the celebrations are being broadcasted on approximately 100 LED screens across the city, along with live streams on the Trust’s social media platforms.
