New Delhi, 9th May.
Sachin Pilot, a senior Congress leader and AICC general secretary in-charge of Chhattisgarh, denied the accusations made by his former party colleague, Radhika Khera, who recently switched to the BJP. Pilot stated that a leader must have a valid reason for changing parties.

Radhika Khera, upon joining the BJP, claimed that she was mistreated because she visited the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. She also criticized Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Sachin Pilot for not speaking out against the mistreatment she faced.

In an interview with ANI, Sachin Pilot mentioned that if someone wants to switch parties, they need to have a reason, whether it’s related to visiting a temple or any other action. He wished good luck to anyone making such a decision, emphasizing that the focus should be on the larger purpose of fighting elections as a party, rather than individual satisfaction.

Pilot highlighted the significance of the ongoing Lok Sabha election, stating that it goes beyond any individual, election, or party. He emphasized that voters have a crucial choice to make in this election.

Sachin Pilot, who previously served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC), reiterated his belief that the Congress would secure more seats than the BJP in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

He also expressed confidence that the BJP would struggle to gain ground in southern states and would see a decrease in their tally in the north. Pilot emphasized the need for the Congress and its allies to increase their numbers in states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Pilot criticized the BJP’s “400 Paar” slogan and questioned their need to induct leaders from other parties. He suggested that the BJP’s change in speeches reflects a shift in voter sentiment.

As the Lok Sabha elections progress, with the first three phases completed and the fourth scheduled for May 13, Pilot believes that the BJP’s claim of winning 400 seats is merely political rhetoric. He noted a change in the BJP’s speeches, indicating a recognition of the desire for change among voters.

The Lok Sabha elections are set to conclude on June 1, with the counting of votes taking place on June 4. While the BJP aims for a third consecutive term, the INDIA bloc is working to halt their long-standing dominance.
