Homoeopathy Symposium Concludes with Emphasis on Global Collaboration for Advancement

The Homoeopathy Symposium, aimed at fostering global collaboration to enhance the efficacy and acceptance of Homoeopathy worldwide, drew to a successful close today in New Delhi.

The two-day event witnessed the esteemed presence of President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, and seven Padma awardees in the fields of homeopathy and Ayush.
With over 6,000 participants, including doctors, scientists, researchers, academicians, students, and faculty, the symposium provided a platform for meaningful interactions and discussions on various facets of homoeopathy.

Under the theme “Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency,” the symposium featured insightful deliberations on homoeopathic research, clinical practice, and market insights, emphasizing the need for continuous research, quality education, and global collaboration to elevate the status of Homoeopathy worldwide.

Dr. Anil Khurana, Chairperson of the National Commission for Homoeopathy, highlighted the significance of celebrating World Homoeopathy Day in India as an opportunity to share clinical experiences and discuss policy issues for the growth of Homoeopathy. He praised the government’s support, which has facilitated the development of a robust infrastructure, making India a global leader in this system of medicine.

Throughout the event, renowned homoeopathic practitioners shared their experiences in managing challenging cases, while veterinarians showcased the positive results of homoeopathy in animal cases. Researchers and scientists presented findings from key research activities, and panel discussions covered topics such as translational research, education sector reforms, global perspectives, and quality assurance in homoeopathic medicines.

International experts shared their experiences and clinical research findings, motivating the audience to apply new learnings in their practices. The symposium also witnessed the awarding of STSH/MD Scholarships to deserving students, encouraging excellence in the field.
During the valedictory session, dignitaries expressed solidarity among the homoeopathic fraternity and outlined key actions to be undertaken to advance the field. Dr. Raj K. Manchanda, Chairperson of the Homoeopathic Sectional Committee, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) & Former DG, CCRH, lauded the symposium’s coverage of crucial aspects such as regulatory insights, standards, exports, and government support.

The successful conclusion of the symposium reaffirmed the commitment to advancing Homoeopathy through continuous research, quality education, and global collaboration. It not only showcased advancements in the field but also laid the foundation for future endeavors to promote Homoeopathy as an integral component of healthcare.

The event concluded with a vibrant cultural evening, featuring performances by renowned artists, celebrating the rich heritage of Homoeopathy.
