New Delhi, 11th April.
After her recent arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi Liquor policy case, K Kavitha, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, finds herself in legal trouble once again. This time, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended her, marking her second arrest within a month.

Kavitha had been undergoing remand at Delhi’s Tihar Jail following an order from the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court subsequent to her arrest by the ED on March 15th.

The CBI’s decision to arrest Kavitha signals a new phase in the investigation, with the agency intending to delve deeper into her involvement in the alleged scam. She will remain in custody at Tihar Jail as the CBI proceeds with its inquiries.

During the ED’s interrogation, Kavitha was grilled about the specifics of the liquor case. Now, with the CBI taking over the investigation, she faces further scrutiny into her purported connection to the scandal.

Despite Kavitha’s earlier attempt to secure bail during the ED’s probe, her legal prospects have become increasingly complex as both the ED and the CBI intensify their scrutiny of her actions.
