GG News Bureau
New Delhi, 12th May. In a letter, Dr Vipin Gaur, General Secretary Newspaper Association of India writes that the Newspapers Association of India has been working for journalists for the last 28 years. The Newspapers Association of India has helped journalists wherever they have problems across the country and will continue to do so.
He said, “We thank you that you have declared journalists as frontline workers and have been given the status of Corona Warrior. It is a matter of great pleasure that you have also asked journalists to apply for their families to apply Corona Vaccine.”
Dr Vipin wrote, “The problem is that in Uttar Pradesh so far only few journalists got the dose of corona vaccine whereas by now all the journalists should have administered the corona vaccine. It is the duty of the Central Government and the State Governments for all those journalists to get vaccine in the time of this pandemic as already many journalists have lost their lives due to Corona. To prevent this from happening further, it is our request that journalists working in the Corona pandemic be given priority to administer the Corona vaccine.
There are many states in the country where nearly 90% of the journalists have been given the first dose of Corona vaccine. Our organization requests you to set up camps in Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar at the earliest to get the vaccine vaccinated as most of the journalists working in Delhi live in Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar. We also request you that correct information be circulated as many are unable to know about the plan to get the vaccine in the right way. An order should be issued by you so that all journalists can know about the vaccine at the right time and right place and can take their families and get the Corona vaccine administered to them as well.
