Violence in Bengal: Union Minister V Muraleedharan Car Attacked By Locals

Kolkata, 6th May. Union Minister V Muraleedharan’s car has been attacked by locals in Panchkhudi, West Midnapore. The attack on the convoy of Union Minister V Muraleedharan has been reported. The incident took place in Panchkudi in West Midnapore.

A video of this incident has also surfaced. In the video some people could be seen breaking the glass of the car of the Union Minister. After this, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan posted a video on Twitter. He wrote, ‘During the tour of West Midnapore my car was attacked by TMC goons. Mirrors were broken. My personal staff was also attacked. I had to leave my tour in the middle and come back.

In the video shared by the Union Minister, a man was seen attacking his car with a stick. As soon as he strikes, the driver of the Union Minister starts turning back. Where the attack took place, the flags and banners of TMC were seen. The glass of the car breaks in the attack.

In another tweet he wrote, “We could not visit the house of @BJP4Bengal, Karyakarta, Biswajit Mahesh, who was killed in the post-poll violence at his village Markundachak. Police advised us not to go after the attack on my convoy at Paanchkuri.”
