Uttar Pradesh Government to Buy Four Crore Corona Vaccine Doses, Rs 20 crore advance given to manufacturers

Lucknow, 7th May. Uttar Pradesh government will buy 4 crore doses of corona vaccines. Global e-tender has been released for this which can be downloaded from 07 May. An advance of Rs 20 crore has been given to the vaccine manufacturers. Due to which one crore dose vaccine will be available in the state by next week.

The third phase of vaccination has started in UP from May 01, in which people between 18 and 44 years of age are being vaccinated. To avoid any kind of shortage of vaccine in this campaign the government is arranging for additional doses.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that there is a need to increase the number of tankers for oxygen. Action should be taken for global tendering in relation to cryogenic tankers. The CM gave these instructions in a review meeting of Team 9 on Thursday at his residence. He said that on May 5, the maximum distribution of 823 metric tonnes of oxygen was done in the state on May 5. Oxygen Express is continuously working. Train with 80 metric tonnes of oxygen is also coming from Jamnagar.
