New Delhi, 7th May. On Thursday, a total of 4 lakh 14 thousand 188 new cases were reported across the country and 3915 people died. According to the Union Ministry of Health, the total cases of corona infection in the country now stands at 2 crore 14 lakh 91 thousand 598, out of which 1 crore 76 lakh 12 thousand 351 people have been recovered. So far 2 lakh 34 thousand 83 patients have lost their lives. At the same time, the total number of active cases is 36 lakh 45 thousand 164.

16 crore 49 lakh 73 thousand 58 people have been vaccinated in the country till now.

More than three thousand people have been dying every day for the last 10 days. In this way, a total of 36 thousand 110 people have lost their lives in 10 days. That is, every hour 150 people have lost their lives. This is the highest death toll in any country in a period of 10 days. According to the WHO, 34 thousand 798 people died in 10 days in the US. In Brazil, 32 thousand 692 people lost their lives in 10 days.
