Bhopal, 7th May. The Madhya Pradesh government has extended the limit of the Ayushman Bharat scheme and has also included treatment of corona in it. The state government has taken this decision after reports of Corona spreading in the villages.
The state government will make a three-month contract with more than 250 hospitals in the state. Any patient can use the Ayushman card to get corona treatment and the hospital cannot refuse it. The responsibility for the same will be given to the District Magistrate of every district.
The state government has signed contracts with 68 hospitals on Thursday and the contract with the rest of the hospitals will start on Friday. For this, the state government will give an additional special package of up to 40 percent. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he asked the District Magistrate to sign a contract with hospitals as soon as possible so that the underprivileged do not face any problem in getting treatment for Covid.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has increased the limit of five thousand rupees per annum for CT scans to Rs 25,000 under the scheme. The Chief Minister informed that Corona will be treated free of cost in these hospitals and CT scan tests will be done free of cost. Apart from this, Remdesivir injection and oxygen will also be provided for free.
