Rashtriya Lok Dal Chief Ajit Singh Dies Due to Corona in Gurugram

Gurugram, 6th May. Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh died today (6 May). He was infected with Corona a few days ago and was undergoing treatment at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram.

The chief of RLD and former Union minister was 82 years old. Due to corona, the infection in his lungs had increased by which his condition became very fragile and he died.

Chaudhary Ajit Singh, the chief of the RLD, was found corona infected on 22 April. Since then, the infection in his lungs gradually increased. On Tuesday (May 4), when his health worsened, he was admitted to the Artemis Hospital in Gurugram. He was on ventilator support for the last two days. He breathed his last on Thursday morning.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tribute to Chaudhary Ajit Singh.

He tweeted, “पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री चौधरी अजित सिंह जी के निधन से अत्यंत दुख हुआ है। वे हमेशा किसानों के हित में समर्पित रहे। उन्होंने केंद्र में कई विभागों की जिम्मेदारियों का कुशलतापूर्वक निर्वहन किया। शोक की इस घड़ी में मेरी संवेदनाएं उनके परिजनों और प्रशंसकों के साथ हैं। ओम शांति!”
