Puducherry, 10th May. Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy tested corona positive on Sunday. A spokesman for the state health department said Rangasamy’s condition is stable. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on the advice of doctors.
A spokesman for Puducherry’s health department said that after showing mild signs of coronavirus, Chief Minister N Rangasamy underwent a corona test at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital in Puducherry, his report came positive.
CM Rangasamy’s condition is stable. But on the advice of the doctor, he is admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for further treatment. He left for Chennai on Sunday evening.
Rangasamy took the oath of the Chief Minister of the state on Friday, two days ago. At that time, 183 people were examined by the Health Department, out of which 11 people were found infected with Covid-19.
