New Delhi, 11th May. Municipal Councillor Preeti Aggarwal writes to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the convenience of the public. She asked the Chief Minister for permission to vaccinate 18+ in existing immunization centers and to seek new centers to reduce congestion in new vaccination centers.

In the letter to Kejriwal she wrote, “As you know the Central Government has offered the vaccination to all above 18 yrs. I hereby bring to your notice that there is no vaccination centre near Sector 18, 19, 15 Raja Vihar and Suraj Park Rohini, Delhi. It is not only demotivating people willing to get vaccination but also inconvenient for them to travel so far.

Further she mentioned, “The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an increased demand for healthcare services and in-patient care. I therefore request to set up a vaccination centre nearby so that a large number of people can get vaccinated as early as possible. “She said that this delay may cause irreparable damage to the efforts to overcome the pandemic. In order to speed up the immunisation a prompt action is requested to improve the situation before it becomes more grave.”

Preeti Aggarwal, Municipal Councillor and Former mayor North Delhi who is actively monitoring and tackling the crisis has informed that the Ministry of AYUSH introduced the AYUSH-64 medicine with the aim of controlling the corona global epidemic. She said that Ayush 64 will be distributed free in Ward 57 Rohini from 9 am to 12 noon on Wednesday.
