Dehradun,15th June. Kunwar Pranav Singh MLA Khanpur in Uttarakhand met the forest minister Harak Sigh Rawat and apprised him about the stopping of a Khadanja construction work in the Madabela area near the proposed wetland project in his constituency.
MLA Khanpur Kunwar Pranav Singh in his meeting apprised the forest minister that a wetland project to boost tourism being coordinated by the forest department and a road being constructed by the PWD Department under state sector plan is 200 metres away from the wetland area. Hence it becomes imperative that the road is built without any hindrance which leads to the proposed wetland project. He demanded relaxation in the guideline so that the road can be built in the tourism interest of the proposed wetland project. The Forest Minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat assured the minister to do the needful and has directed the officials to look into the matter on a priority basis.
