Bharuch, 1st May. Major fire broke out at a Covid19 Care Centre in Bharuch, Gujarat. 16 people have died in this incident. Patients have been shifted from here after the incident. It is being said that the fire broke out late on Friday (30 April) between 12:30 am to 1 pm. Many patients have also been injured in this incident.
As soon as the information was received about the incident, several fire brigade vehicles reached to extinguish the fire. This Covid Care Center for Corona patients was built on the first floor of Patel Welfare Hospital.
Bharuch SP Rajendrasinh Chudasama informed that 14 patients who were undergoing treatment in the Covid ward of this hospital died along with these two nurses also lost their lives. About 50 people were resuscitated and have been admitted to another hospital.
