Second Wave of Corona in India: Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan Corona Infected

Lucknow, 1st May. Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan from Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh has been found to be Corona positive. Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam has also been found infected with Covid. The RTPCR report of a total of 13 prisoners including MP Azam Khan in Sitapur Jail is found to be Corona positive.

The confirmation was made when the medical report came late on Friday. All of them have been isolated inside the prison in a yard. According to Jail Superintendent RS Yadav in charge, RT PCR test of 69 detainees was conducted in the jail. Its report came on Friday night in which a total of 13 prisoners including Rampur MP Azam Khan, Abdullah Azam have been found positive. The 12 detainees are kept in separate precincts while MP Azam Khan was already in other precinct.
