Covid19 Vaccination: 18+ to Get Free Corona Vaccine in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 4th May. Now people above 18 years of age will be administered Corona vaccine for free in Chandigarh. Putting an end to the speculation that has been going on for the last several days, the Chandigarh administration has taken a decision in this regard on Tuesday. The administration was waiting for the central government guidelines.

On the other hand, vaccination has been stopped in private hospitals of Chandigarh. Health director Dr. Amandeep Kang has asked private hospital operators to return the remaining vaccine dose to the department. He has said that now private hospitals will have to buy the vaccines. The health department will not supply vaccines. Dr. RS Bedi, former President of IMA, said that the company supplying the vaccine says that there can be no supply for the next 6 months.
