New Delhi, 28th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India and Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Jugnauth, are set to jointly inaugurate a series of vital infrastructure projects, including a new Airstrip and St. James Jetty, along with six community development initiatives on Agalega Island in Mauritius.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 29 February 2024 at 1 PM and will take place via video conferencing.
The collaborative inauguration underscores the enduring partnership between India and Mauritius in development endeavors, exemplifying their long standing cooperation.
These projects are poised to address the need for enhanced connectivity between mainland Mauritius and Agalega, thereby bolstering maritime security measures and fostering socio-economic progress in the region.
