UP Government Ordered Vaccination of People above 45 years to be Done Only After Registration

Lucknow, 7th May. From Monday, the first dose of the vaccine will be given to all citizens above the age of 45 only after online registration. The corona vaccination facility has been stopped by the Health Department by registering on-the-spot for people above 45 years of age.

The system of on-the-spot registration through walk-in will be closed from Monday. Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health, Amit Mohan Prasad issued the orders on Thursday. The second dose of the vaccine will continue as before. Till now citizens above 45 years were given the facility to go directly to the vaccination center to register and get vaccinated. Since May 1, the time slot is being given after registration in the vaccination process for those above 18 years of age.

Vaccination process was facing difficulties due to the increasing number of people. Due to this, the Health Department has stopped the facility of on-spot registration.
