To meet the needs of Oxygen for Covid-19 affected patients medical Oxygen plants to come in the main hospitals of hill state soon

Pithoragarh, 15th May. To meet the demand for Oxygen for the Covid-19 affected patients, the main hospitals of hill state will have medical oxygen generation plants soon. Uttarakhand director-general of health, Dr. Tripti Bahuguna said in Haldwani today.
“The medical oxygen generation plants are being provided by the government of India while we are working on creating infrastructure for it o a priority basis,” said the DG health Tripti Bahuguna
According to Dr Tripti Bhahuguna, the department has decided to install medical oxygen generation plants in Bageshwar, Champawat, and Ranikhet, while the plants have already started functioning in Haldwani of Nainital district and in US Nagar.
“The oxygen generation plants being stalled in the hospitals of the state, will have a cost of Rs 1.5 crore each, and each oxygen plant will have the capacity of generating 150 to 200 oxygen cylinders per day. “said Tripti Bahuguna.
