Thousands mourn the death of Shrimantini Dwibedi’s

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack/New Delhi, 28th May. Thousands from a cross-section of society across the globe have mourned the sad demise of Shrimantini Dwibedi. The Dwibedi family since her passing away on 14th May 2021 has been receiving thousands of condolence messages from the Representatives of belonging to the Odisha community spread around the world Samaj. The prominent leaders of the Odia diaspora and people from different walks of life have expressed their shock and sorrow at Shrimantini Dwibedi’s Death.
86 years old Smt Dwibedi has been ailing for some time. She breathed her last at 11.15 p.m. on Friday night at Dwibedi’s ancestral home in village Bari of District Jajpur in Odisha. Smt Dwibedi’s husband late Gokul Chandra Dwibedi has had earned name and fame as a well-known educationist in Bari as well as in district Jajpur.
Distinguished dignitaries paid glowing tributes in the memory of the departed soul and prayed for her salvation and eternal peace. In a condolence message, the Governor of Odisha Professor Ganeshi Lal mentioned that Shrimantini Dwibedi was a well-known Philanthropist and pious person. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhushan Harichandan described Shrimantini Dwibedi as a Woman having cool, simple, affectionate and affable nature. The Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Dr Surjya Narayan Patro in a message expressed shock over the sad demise of Dwibedi. Shrimantini Dwibedi was the mother of his close friend Senior Journalist Kishore Dwibedi,
Dr Patro said that he has been knowing her and Dwibedi family for a long time. Describing her as a soft-spoken, affectionate, helpful, religious and benevolent human being, Dr Patro prayed to Lord Jagannath to grant rest to the sacred soul. Expressing his sadness Comptroller and Auditor General of India Girish Chandra Murmu said that he was sorry to hear about the sad news and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. In a message, the Governor of Reserve Bank of India Shakti Kant Das expressed his deep condolences and prayed for the soul to rest in peace. The renowned spiritual Guru Dr Chandrabhanu Satpathy, invoked Lord Sai Baba to bless her and grant peace to her soul.
