Mumbai, 17th May. Due to cyclone Tauktae, Orange alert has been issued in Mumbai. Meanwhile, in view of the danger, a decision has been taken to keep the Mumbai airport closed for three hours. Today, on Monday, Mumbai airport will be closed from 11 am to 2 pm.
The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert due to rain and strong winds. In Mumbai strong winds are blowing. It is also raining brightly. Temporary shelters have been constructed at five places in Mumbai amid the threat of storms.
