Second Wave of Corona in India: More Than 4 Lakh Daily Covid Cases in the Last 24 Hours

New Delhi, 1st May. The second wave of Corona virus has created havoc in the country. People are horrified with the increasing number of new corona patients and deaths from Covid. The health system has also started to collapse due to ever increasing patients. On Saturday, for the first time in the country more than four lakh new corona patients have been found and 3523 have lost their lives. Before India, more than four lakh corona infection cases were reported in the US only in a single day.

Due to continuous increase in the number of corona patients in the country, beds, ventilators, remdesivir and oxygen shortage continues in the most affected states.

According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry on Saturday, the record 4 Lakh 1 Thousand 993 new corona patients have been found in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, India left miles behind other Corona-affected countries. More than three lakh cases of corona infection were being reported daily since April 22 in the country, now this figure has crossed four lakhs. With this, the total number of infected people in the country reached 1 Crore 91 Lakh 64 Thousand 969. A day before this, on Friday, more than 3.86 lakh new patients were found in the country.
