Pushkar Dhami sworn in as the 11th chief minister of Uttarakhand

Dehradun, 4th July. Amid the voices of dissent from the BJP Mla’s, Pushkar Dhami was sworn in as the 11th chief minister of Uttarakhand at Raj Bhawan around 5 pm in Dehradun on Sunday.

The Governor Uttarakhand Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath to office to the newly anointed Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami on the occasion.

The 11 Ministers in the previous government were repeated in the new government. Subodh Uniyal, Harak Singh Rawat cabinet minister, Yashpal Arya, Bishan Singh Chufal , Satpal Maharaj, Rekha Arya, Dhan Singh Rawat, Arvind Pandey, Banshidhar Bhagat, Yashpal Arya cabinet Swami Yatishwaran and Ganesh Joshi were administered oath to the office as cabinet ministers by the governor along with the chief minister, Dhami.


The MLAs from the disgruntled group were also present on the occasion to show the united face of the party along with the state BJP president Madan Kaushik.

The new chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami s that he is thankful to the party for reposing faith in him and he will work for the welfare of the people specially for the poor people of the state.

He said that he is committed to turn the situation of despair into opportunity and work along with the other ministers sworn in today.

Dhami said that he will take along the youth with him and work for the welfare of all in the state.
