New Delhi, 14th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid homage to the brave CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Homage to the courageous heroes we lost in Pulwama in 2019. The coming generations will never forget their sacrifice and their unwavering dedication to the nation.”
The Pulwama attack, which took place on February 14, 2019, claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel when a suicide bomber targeted a security convoy in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident led to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, culminating in the Balakot air strikes.
On the sixth anniversary of the attack, tributes poured in from political leaders, security forces, and citizens across the country, reaffirming the nation’s gratitude and remembrance for the fallen soldiers.
