Not a single case of corona in 7 days in 180 districts: Health Minister

New Delhi, 8th May. On Saturday (May 8), the Health Minister said that not a single new case of corona has been reported in 180 districts of the country for the last seven days.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan further said that in the last 14 days, 18 districts have not registered any corona cases. Apart from this, no new cases of Covid have been seen in 54 districts in the last 21 days.

On behalf of the Government of India, it has been said that it is being ensured that the necessary medical assistance from abroad is being effectively allocated to the States and Union Territories. Of these, 2933 oxygen concentrators, 2429 oxygen cylinders, 13 oxygen production plants, 2951 ventilators / BI PAP / C PAP and vials of more than three lakh Remedisvir have been distributed so far. The Ministry of Health stated that some states are showing greater consumption of vaccines (including wastage) than the vaccines supplied. States and Union Territories will receive more than 53 lakh vaccine doses in the next three days.
