Nepal: PM KP Sharma Oli Loses Confidence Vote in Parliament

Kathmandu, 10th May. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has lost the confidence vote in Parliament amid the political crisis in Nepal. After withdrawal of support by Pushpa kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ led Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center), Oli government came to minority and therefore, PM Oli had to prove his majority in the lower house today.

The ruling Nepal Communist Party (UML- Unified Marxist–Leninist) had issued a whip to all its MPs and requested to speak in favor of the Prime Minister, but Oli could not succeed.
