Sultanpur, 2nd April.
After BJP MP Varun Gandhi was denied a ticket from his constituency, his mother, and BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, who is currently visiting Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh for 10 days, finally spoke out and expressed her happiness about being a part of the party.

When asked about Varun Gandhi’s next steps, she responded by saying, “Ask him what he wants to do. We will consider this after the elections. There is still time.”

Maneka Gandhi expressed her gratitude towards Amit Shah, PM Modi, and Nadda Ji for giving her the ticket, even though it was announced quite late, causing some confusion about where she should run from – Pilibhit or Sultanpur. She appreciates the party’s decision now.

She also mentioned her happiness about returning to Sultanpur, a place with a history of no MP being re-elected, during her first visit after receiving the ticket. She plans to visit 101 villages in the entire Lok Sabha constituency during her 10-day stay.

Maneka Gandhi received a warm welcome from party leaders and workers at various locations like Katka Guptarganj, Tatianagar, Tedhui, Golaghat, Shahganj Square, Dariyapur Tiraha, and Payagipur Square. She also paid her respects to the statues of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

Several BJP leaders, including BJP District President Dr. RA Verma, BJP State Minister Meena Choubey, Lok Sabha in-charge Durgesh Tripathi, Lok Sabha convenor Jagjit Singh Changu, MLA Raj Prasad Upadhyay, MLA Rajesh Gautam, and spokesperson Vijay Raghuvanshi, were present during her visit.

Previously, Varun Gandhi wrote a heartfelt letter to the people of his constituency, promising that his connection with Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh will last until his last breath.
