Juvenile Justice amendment act bill passed in Parliament amidst uproarious scenes in Parliament

New Delhi, 28th July. The seventh day of parliament’s winter session once again witnessed uproarious scenes by the opposition members over the Pegasus issue in the Indian Parliament in New Delhi resulting in the adjournment of both houses, on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Juvenile Justice Amendment Bill, 2021 was passed in the Rajya Sabha and the House was adjourned till 11 am on July 29. The Lok Sabha was also adjourned till tomorrow. Earlier, both the Houses were adjourned again at 3 pm till 2 pm. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12 o’clock following uproar as soon as proceedings began. Opposition MPs also raised slogans on Pegasus issue in the Lok Sabha today. The Opposition has not allowed the House to function so far demanding an inquiry into the Pegasus espionage case. The Opposition is also agitated over three agricultural laws and inflation issues. The monsoon session, which began on July 19, has not been able to function properly for a single day so far. Opposition parties have disrupted the proceedings in Parliament every day.
