Lucknow, 12th August.
During the 18th Pandit Bhuvneshchandra Mishra Memorial Lecture, former Jansatta editor and thinker Banwari emphasized the distinctiveness of civilizations despite their similar external structures.

He highlighted that the essence of Indian civilization lies in its integrative, scriptural, and societal nature, presenting it as a spiritually centered civilization. In contrast, modern Europe is seen as power-centric, invincibility-oriented, and dynamic towards the periphery.

He noted that communist ideologies have unexpectedly distorted the comprehensive perspective of Chinese civilization.

Banwari called for India to reclaim its unique identity. The lecture was chaired by Kumaraswamy Foundation President Professor R.K. Mishra.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Lucknow University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Manuka Khanna, Political Science Department Chair Professor Sanjay Gupta, former Philosophy Department Chair Professor Rakesh Chandra, Director of Madan Mohan Malviya Teacher Training Centre Professor Kamal Kumar, and many other senior academics and dignitaries from affiliated colleges.

During the event, the foundation’s annual magazine, Tattva-Sindhu, was also launched.
