India Covid 19 update: India administered 86.16 lakh Covid vaccine doses in a single day.

New Delhi , 22nd June. India administered 86.16 lakh Covid vaccine doses in a single day the highest-ever single day vaccination achieved in the world so far.
So far 28.87 Cr. Covid Vaccine Doses have been administered under the countrywide Covid Vaccination Drive. India reported 42,640 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours which is less than 50,000 in 91 days.
The Covid Active Caseload declines to 6,62,521 which is less than 7 lakh after 79 days. There were 2,89,26,038 Total Recoveries across the country. So far 81,839 patients recovered from Covid during the last 24 hours. Daily Covid recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 40th consecutive day and the recovery rate increases to 96.49%.
The weekly Covid Positivity Rate remains below 5%, currently at 3.21%. Daily positivity rate at 2.56%, less than 5% for 15 consecutive days. Covid testing capacity substantially ramped up – 39.40 cr tests total were conducted.
