23 persons trapped in Pithoragarh rescued by state government

Pithoragarh, 23rd June. A total of 23 persons trapped in Dantu village of Farms valley, were rescued by state government helicopter on Tuesday.The rescued persons included 16 district administrative employees were trapped in the village since June 16, Dharchula SDM AK Shukla said.
“We have to rescue nearly 15 persons in Wednesday, these all villagers are either ill ,old persons or pregnant women, these will be rescued on Wednesday.”said the SDM.
The state goverment employee team, including 5 district level officers, had gone to high altitude village of Dantu to provide agriculture and fisheries training to villagers.”except 4, all trapped district administration team members have been rescued, rest will be taken to Dharchula by on Wednesday. “Said the SDM.
According a press note issued by district administration.Besides the administration team, a woman and her two day old child have also been taken to Dharchula By the state goverment helicopter..
