New Delhi, 17th June . In what is being termed as revenge move the Home Ministry on Thursday withdrew the security of Mukul Roy, who left the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal.
According to reports, the home ministry had issued an order yesterday to remove the security of TMC leader Mukul Roy. The CRPF is currently in the process of withdrawing security. From him. The central security of Mukul Roy’s son Subhranshu was withdrawn only last Saturday.
According to Nakari, Mukul Roy had written to the Home Ministry after returning home asking him to withdraw the Z Plus security given to him. Roy was given the Central Security Cover after he joined the BJP from Trinamool in 2017.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has given him the protection of Bengal Police personnel. 24-hour state police security has been provided to him by the TMC chief.
