Gujarat: Home Minister Amit Shah Offers Prayers at Dwarkadhish Temple

Gujarat (Dwarka), 20th May. Union Home Minister Amit Shah offered prayers at the Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, Gujarat, on Saturday.

The Union Home Minister will also attend the foundation stone laying event for the National Academy of Coastal Policing at Okha, Gujarat.

He will also e-inaugurate five BSF coastal outposts off the Jakhau coast in Gujarat’s Kutch district, as well as one OP Tower in Lakhpatwari in the state’s Sir Creek area.

The National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) has been established to provide intensive and high-level training for Marine Police of nine Coastal states, five Union Territories, and as well as Central Police Forces.

The government of India has sanctioned Rs 441 crore for developing NACP with modern infrastructure, the latest technology, and state of art training facilities which would make a significant contribution towards enhancing the security of Coastal Borders.
