DM Dehradun directs officials to release an amount of Rs.1 crore for sampling from the SDRF head and Rs 4 crore funds for various equipment’s.

Dehradun, 22nd May. DM Dehradun, Dr Ashish Kumar Srivastava directed the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Medical Superintendents and Medical Officers for procurement of various equipment’s in the hospitals for a long term through videoconferencing.
The District Magistrate directed the Chief Medical Officer to obtain and submit a charter of demands from all the Chief Medical Superintendents and Medical Officers for equipment, machines to be purchased for a long term so that action can be taken to purchase the necessary equipment at the earliest.
He directed the Chief Medical Officer to purchase several other equipment’s including jumbo and B type oxygen cylinder, oxygen concentrator, ventilator, Dipu bed, oxygen storage plant, generator, glucometer, deep regulator, multi-parameter, ambulance, Bipep, powder bed, stretcher, wheelchair, warmer, dental chair, micro-enlarger, digital X-ray machine etc.
He said that transparency and quality should be taken care of in the procurement of various materials and the funds received from MPs and M.L.A LAD funds and the procurement should be made without delay and UC utilization certificate should be presented in the assigned format.
He directed all medical officers during the conference to immediately purchase the necessary material from the funds released to them and submit a demand letter on expenditure. He said that the oxygen generation plant in each CSC and storage plant in SDH as well as an oxygen store in old CSC at Sahaspur should be constructed so that oxygen can be supplied to all hospitals as per demand.
He directed the Chief Medical Officer to immediately furnish the details of equipment’s, to be purchased for the long term while strengthening the health facilities further. He said that a detailed description of where they will come from and where they will be used. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Development Officer Nitika Khandelwal informed that 50-50 home isolation kits are to be provided in each village. She said that an isolation kit for 400 Gram Panchayats in the district should be prepared at the earliest for timely distribution of these kits. She said that in addition, home isolation kits are also to be provided in each ward of local bodies.
During the meeting, Chief Medical Officer Anup Kumar Dimri asked all CMS and MoIC to submit their demand letter immediately. He informed that additional funds are required for the purchase of medicines and equipment for hospitals. On this, the Dm Dehradun directed the ADMV to release an amount of Rs.1 crore for sampling from the SDRF head and the funds worth Rs.4 crore be released for various equipment’s
