New Delhi, 8th May. The central government has issued new guidelines, under which the national policy of getting patients admitted in hospitals has been amended. Corona tests will no longer be mandatory for treatment in hospitals.

Until now, Covid positive reports used to be mandatory for getting admitted in hospitals. As part of the new change, the imperative of the report has now been scrapped. It is worth mentioning that patients used to struggle due to earlier provision and many patients had also lost their lives. In such a situation, the Union Health Ministry issued new guidelines. Instructions have been given to the Chief Secretary of the States and Union Territories in this regard. They have been told that the new policy should be implemented within three days.

Under the new policy of the Central Government, these patients will be admitted in the suspected ward. These wards will also be built in Covid care centers, fully dedicated Covid care centers and Covid hospitals. It has also been clarified in the new policy that patients cannot be denied treatment on the basis of their state as well.

The Ministry of Health has also issued a rule for those who do not have any identity card and want to get vaccinated. Such people will be registered in the CoWin app. Special sessions will be organized for their vaccination. It will be the responsibility of the district administration to identify these people.
