Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma Demands Resignation of CM & Home Minister Over Nafe Singh Rathi’s Murder

Faridabad, 27th Feb. Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma has expressed profound sorrow over the murder of Nafe Singh Rathi, demanding the resignation of the Home Minister and Chief Minister in response to the escalating lawlessness during the BJP-JJP coalition government’s tenure.

Addressing the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, Neeraj Sharma criticized the government for prioritizing the deployment of police forces to restrict farmers at the borders instead of apprehending criminals. Despite repeated warnings from the opposition regarding the deteriorating law and order situation, the current administration has failed to address the concerns, focusing more on political interests than public safety, said Sharma.

Neeraj Sharma emphasized the need for justice for victims and their families, highlighting the alarming statistics provided by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and the Social Progress Index (SPI) report, which rank Haryana as the top state for crimes against women, children, and homicide incidents.

Furthermore, he lamented the government’s lack of action despite mounting evidence of deteriorating security conditions, citing recent incidents targeting legislators and civilians. Neeraj Sharma extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and urged them to find strength in these trying times.
