Cadet world Championship: Tannu becomes third Indian to win the Gold in wrestling

Budapest/New Delhi, 23rd July. Tannu became the third Indian wrestler Tannu to Gold in 43kg wrestling event at the Cadet World Championship. Tannu won the final by fall against Belarus’ Valeryia Mikitsich and this was her third victory by fall in four bouts. She is the third Indian to win gold at this event.

Varsha won the bronze medal in the 65kg category.

Rarier Young wrestlers Aman Gulia and Sagar Jaglan from Haryana won the championship in their respective categories.

Gulia defeated Luke Joseph Lilledahl from USA convincingly by margin of 5-2 in 48 kg final while defeated James Mockler Rowley 4-0 in the 80kg category.
