Arvind Kejriwal Demands 85 lakh Vaccine Doses Every Month to Complete Vaccination Process in 3 Months

New Delhi, 8th May. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference on Saturday. He said that there is a shortage of vaccines today. Kejriwal said that if we receive a sufficient dose of vaccine, we can complete the vaccination within 3 months. There are 1.5 crore people above 18 years in Delhi, so we need 3 crore doses.

Out of this, the Delhi government has received only 40 lakh doses so far. We need 26 million more doses. He said that if 80–85 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine are given per month to the Delhi government, then we can complete the vaccination within three months. CM Kejriwal said that for the next 3 months we need 80-85 lakh vaccines every month. We are administering one lakh vaccines every day, we have to apply 3 lakh vaccines every day. 50,000 vaccines are being given to people under 45 years of age and 50,000 vaccines to people over 45 years of age. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that I request the Central Government to ensure adequate availability of vaccines to Delhi.
