VP Dhankhar to Attend ICAR-CIRCOT Centenary Celebration in Mumbai

New Delhi, 2nd Dec. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Mumbai on December 3, 2024, to participate in the Centenary Foundation Day celebrations of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT).

As the Chief Guest of the event, the Vice President will inaugurate the Centenary Pillar at the ICAR-CIRCOT premises. The occasion marks 100 years of the institute’s contribution to agricultural research and technological advancements in cotton and allied industries.

The visit underscores the government’s recognition of agricultural innovation as a cornerstone of India’s economic development. ICAR-CIRCOT, headquartered in Mumbai, has been pivotal in fostering research on cotton technologies and empowering stakeholders in the textile and agricultural sectors.
