21-Year-Old College Student Fatally Stabbed by Gay Partner in Pune: Police

A 21-year-old college student was fatally stabbed by his gay partner in the Wagholi area of Pune, Maharashtra, according to police reports on Wednesday.

The victim, who was studying for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and residing in a hostel, was attacked with a sharp weapon on Bakori Road in Wagholi on Tuesday, as stated by Pune City Police officials.

After the attack, the accused fled the scene while a passer-by rushed the victim to the hospital. Unfortunately, the victim did not survive the treatment.

Officials revealed that the accused had been identified by the victim before his demise. Based on preliminary investigations, the police have registered a case against the accused under IPC Section 302.

A dedicated team has been formed to locate and apprehend the accused, as he managed to escape after the victim’s death, the police added.
Authorities suspect that this incident may be related to a love affair and have initiated an investigation in that direction.
