Zelensky says Russia fired 300 missiles, 200 drones in Ukraine since Dec 29

WASHINGTON DC, 4th Jan. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday has said that Russia has fired 300 missiles and over 200 Shahed combat drones against Ukraine since December 29, in a video address. .
“No other state has ever repelled such attacks, combined ones: both drones and missiles, including air-launched ballistic missiles. Ten Kinzhal missiles have been shot down today alone,” Zelensky stated.
Zelensky quoted in news media that Russia launched 100 missiles of various types at Ukraine on Tuesday which killed 5 people and injured 130 others.
Oleksii Kuleba, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, said on Telegram that over 250 civilian facilities have been damaged in the latest attack, which targeted mostly Kyiv and the second-largest city of Kharkiv.
The city’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said two people were killed and 49 others injured in the air strike, and 43 of them were hospitalized in Kyiv alone.
