Amaravati, 28th July. The YSR Congress Party has opted to back the Narendra Modi administration in Parliament and reject the no-confidence motion put forth by the opposition group INDIA.

The Prime Minister must address the Manipur crisis in the Lok Sabha, according to a motion of no-confidence made by the 26-party Opposition alliance. The warning has been acknowledged, but no decision regarding a date has yet been made.

“How does introducing a motion of no confidence benefit the nation? It is not in the national interest to attempt to destabilise the Central administration at this time of unrest in Manipur with two adversarial neighbours, according to YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader Vijayasai Reddy.

“Now is the time to cooperate rather than compete. The YSRC Party would oppose the resolution and support the government, he declared.

There are 22 members of the YSR Congress Party in the Lok Sabha and 9 in the Rajya Sabha.

According to YSR Congress officials, when the Rajya Sabha debates the measure to repeal the Delhi Services ordinance the following week, the party will support the government.

For the BJP-led NDA to successfully pass the measure in the Upper House, the party’s backing is essential.
