Your Visit Will Strengthen India-France Friendship: PM Modi to French President

New Delhi, 5th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that French President Emmanuel Macron’s recent visit to India and his participation in the Republic Day celebrations will definitely strengthen the friendship between India and France.
Macron visited India for two days last month and was the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
Macron shared a video montage of his visit on X and described it as an exceptional trip to India.
Prime Minister Modi responded to the post, expressing his honor to have Macron in India and stating that his visit and participation in the Republic Day celebrations will surely enhance the friendship between India and France.
On January 26, India and France unveiled a comprehensive defense industrial roadmap to jointly develop crucial military equipment.
They also established a space situational awareness program, and the Tata Group and Airbus announced their collaboration to build H125 helicopters, following discussions between Modi and Macron.
