With more showers expected, evokes to light rain on Sunday in Delhi

New Delhi, 4th Feb. When the minimum temperature in the nation’s capital reached 11.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday—three degrees above the season’s average—light rains were falling. Between 5 and 8 am, there was rain in some areas of Delhi, and at 8.30 am, the city had received 3 mm of rain in the previous day.

According to the India Meteorological Department, there will be a thunderstorm during the day, followed by some fog during the night. At 8:30 am, 97% of the air was humid, according to the Met office.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 253 at 10 am, placing it in the “poor” category.

An AQI of 0–50 is regarded as “good,” 51–100 as “satisfactory,” 101–200 as “moderate,” 201–300 as “poor,” 301–400 as “very poor,” and 401–500 as “severe.”
