West Bengal Violence: Bomb Explosions Outside Residence of MP Singh

Kolkata, 8th Sep. A massive bomb blast took place outside the residence of Arjun Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP from West Bengal, on Wednesday morning.

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar gave this information by tweeting. Dhankhar wrote that wanton violence in WB shows no sign of abating. Bomb explosions this morning outside the residence of Member Parliament Arjun Singh is worrisome on law and order. He wrote that he expects prompt action in the matter.

According to the information, at the time of the attack, MP and state BJP vice-president Arjun Singh was not present at home. Although his family members were at home at that time. The police reached the spot and investigated the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the house so that the bombers could be traced.

Arjun Singh’s statement has also come out on this matter. He said that this is an attempt to kill me before the by-election, because the party has made me in-charge of Bhawanipur. He said that the Bengal government will itself investigate this incident and will cover up the matter as before. He said that neither the FIR nor charge sheet will be filed in this case.
