New Delhi, 14th Jan: The Vice-President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, will undertake a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu on January 14 and 15, 2026.
On January 15, the Vice-President will celebrate the festival of Thai Pongal with the people of Tiruppur, marking the harvest festival in a traditional and community-centric manner.
Later in the day, Shri Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the newly established KMCH Institute of Neurosciences and OPD Block in Coimbatore. He will also inaugurate the KMCH Medical College Postgraduate Institute, aimed at strengthening advanced medical education and specialised healthcare services in the region.
The Vice-President will further preside as the Chief Guest at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and the 25th anniversary of Ramakrishna Dental College & Hospital at CODISSIA Hall in Coimbatore, highlighting their contribution to healthcare services and medical education over the decades.
