New Delhi, 5th March: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will undertake his maiden visit to Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura from March 6 to March 8, 2026, since assuming office.
During the three-day visit, the Vice President will attend convocation ceremonies at universities across the three Northeastern states.
On March 6, he will grace the 8th Convocation of Nagaland University at Lumami in Nagaland.
On March 7, the Vice President will attend the 20th Convocation of Mizoram University in Aizawl as the Chief Guest.
On March 8, he will participate in the 14th Convocation of Tripura University in Agartala.
Later in the day, Radhakrishnan will visit Self-Help Group stalls at the International Trade and Fair Centre in Hapania, where he will interact with women SHG members and beneficiaries known as Lakhpati Didis.
Officials said the visit aims to strengthen engagement with educational institutions and community initiatives across the Northeastern region.
